My name is Andrea Boedeker and I am a co-owner of McArthur & Boedeker, Attorneys at Law, PLLC in Cleburne, Texas. I primarily practice in probate, estate planning, family law, and criminal law.  I have a particular passion for probate and estate planning, where I am able to devote my time to helping people in navigating the difficult time following the passing of a loved one as well as assisting our clients in preserving their wealth for future generations. With my assistance, my clients are able to ensure that their children, grandchildren, and loved ones are taken care of for years to come.

I grew up in Cleburne, Texas and graduated from Cleburne High School in three years with distinguished honors.  After high school, I was accepted into Howard Payne University’s Multidisciplinary Honor’s Program, the Douglas MacArthur Academy of Freedom, where I participated in Model United Nations and Moot Court. I graduated from HPU with majors in political science, public policy, and American history and a minor in criminal justice. I also successfully defended my honors bachelor thesis and graduated summa cum laude.

While attending Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, I was involved in Law Clinic, the honors fraternity Phi Delta Phi, the Innocence Project, the Organization of Women Lawyers, and the family law association. The Law Clinic program allowed me the opportunity to obtain a 3L bar card and actually practice law under the supervision of experienced attorneys to provide pro bono legal services to individuals who needed legal representation.  My time there gave me an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while deepening my compassion for those who cannot afford legal representation in an increasingly-complex legal system.  I also worked as a legal assistant in both Tarrant and Johnson Counties.  These jobs provided me an invaluable opportunity to gain additional hands-on experience in various areas of law.

Since Law School, I have primarily practiced in Hood County in various areas of law including criminal defense, guardianship, probate, estate planning, and adoptions. I have enjoyed having the ability to help and serve my clients no matter what point they are in their lives.

I am licensed by the Texas Supreme Court and a member of the State Bar of Texas, as well as a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Hood County Bar Association, and the Johnson County Bar Association.
